Furniture with family warmth
The story of Derevo began in the late 90s, when our father Serhiy, after several years of working for a state-owned company, decided to go his own way — to create furniture that he wanted to put his soul into.
The very first orders were made literally in a garage. Back then, our father set up a small woodworking workshop in the little town of Bakhmach, in the Chernihiv region. With only a handful of tools, but with a wealth of skill and inspiration
Over time, our workshop grew, enriched with advanced equipment — precision panel saws, CNC machines, planers, and jointers. As demand increased, our father envisioned something extraordinary: he acquired two authentic railway carriages and personally transformed them into bespoke wood-drying chambers.
In time, the small workshop evolved into a true family-run production with a large sawmill — where every piece is shaped by our hands and guided by our hearts.
We transformed together, while at the same time bringing to life the dream of a workshop with the concept of “family & furniture”
But we haven't changed the most important thing — it's handmade, naturalness, and love for wood.
